Glitter Life Foundation was founded in USA in January 2024 and was expanded to Uganda and Tanzania in the same year, and as we found the vision to reach lives that or behind are forsaken or have been by tragedies. In this area of East Africa, we are working together with our local organization branch, Glitter Life Foundation Uganda, and it has been registered as nonprofit organizations under the laws and constitution of the Government of Uganda. We are planning to create some activities like own Private School, Musical instruments for rent, Restaurant, Pig and poultry farm, and various food farming… in these areas that will be able to finance the foundation so that it can achieve its goals in a small way until we have a big capacity. Because there are some other services, we do that don’t require a money economy.  

“At GLF, we prioritize education as a core program to empower highly vulnerable children in our communities.  

We identify and support children who are at risk due to circumstances such as being orphans, abandoned, living in poverty, or on the streets. Through the generosity of compassionate individuals, we provide sponsorship that enables these children to access quality education at our schools, which have been built and supported by our donors. Or by taking them to schools near their vicinity. 

Our comprehensive child education support package includes: 

– Provision of uniforms and scholastic materials to ensure they have the necessary tools for learning 

– Accommodation for children from distant locations, ensuring they have a safe and stable place to stay  

– Skills training through partnerships with mainstream education institutions or local artisans, equipping them with practical skills for future employment 

By providing these essential services, we aim to break the cycle of poverty and vulnerability and empower these children to build a brighter future for themselves and their communities.” 

By taking this approach, GLF ensures that specific challenges faced by the children, and a comprehensive support is provided to address these challenges. We also emphasize the impact of the program in empowering the children and breaking the cycle of poverty. 

Here at GLF, we prioritize Health and Well-being as a core program to nurture the physical, emotional, and mental health of vulnerable individuals under our care.  

We recognize that our beneficiaries, including children, youth, and families, face unique challenges that impact their overall well-being. Through the generosity of compassionate sponsors, we provide comprehensive health services that address their specific needs. 

Our Health and Well-being program includes: 

– Access to medical care and treatment, ensuring timely interventions for health issues 

– Nutrition support, providing balanced meals and snacks to promote healthy growth and development 

– Mental health support, offering counseling and therapy to address emotional and psychological needs 

– Health education, empowering individuals with knowledge on healthy practices, disease prevention, and management

Through our income generating activities with the support from our partners and  sponsors, we provide comprehensive livelihood support that addresses the specific needs of our beneficiaries. 

Our Livelihoods program includes: 

– Vocational training and skills development, equipping individuals with employable skills 

– Entrepreneurship support, providing resources and mentorship for business start-ups 

– Job placement and career guidance, connecting individuals with employment opportunities 

– Financial literacy and management, empowering individuals to manage their finances effectively

Our goal is to enable them to become self-sufficient, support themselves and their families, and build a brighter future for their communities.

At GLF, we believe that economic empowerment is key to breaking the cycle of poverty and vulnerability. Our Income Generating Activities (IGA) program is designed to equip our beneficiaries with the skills and resources needed to generate sustainable income and improve their livelihoods. Through our IGA program, we support vulnerable individuals in developing income-generating projects that enhance their economic stability and independence. 

We provide a range of support, including: 

– Provision of seeds, tools, and other agricultural inputs for farming and gardening projects 

– Capital and financial support for business start-ups and expansion 

– Training and mentorship in various trades, such as art and crafts, bakery, manufacturing of soap and other vocational skills 

– Support for livestock projects, including poultry, fish farming, piggery, and other animal husbandry initiatives 

With the support of our partners and sponsors, we provide comprehensive training, mentorship, and resources to help our beneficiaries succeed in their endeavors. Our IGA program focuses on: 

– Supporting micro-enterprises and small business development 

– Providing training and capacity-building for entrepreneurship and business management

– Fostering economic resilience and stability
